Welcome to a highly accessible, 18-hole golf course in a beautiful, historic ironworks setting. The course has a reputation for challenging even the best players. Nonetheless, it is also suitable for beginners and those who play simply for exercise.
This primarily parkland course also offers a few forest features. The architecture draws on inspiration from Scotland and bears the unmistakeable stamp of course designer Peter Nordvall. Deep, crater-like bunkers and high, swaying rough are the most distinctive elements.
From the yellow tees, this is a 5,850 m, par 72 course.
The course is on the historic ironworks area at Roberstfors and has the ironworks’ hotel (dating from the turn of the 19th century) as the club house. Besides its offices, the club house’s facilities include changing rooms, showers, a golf shop, a restaurant, bookable second-floor rooms and conference venues.
The philosophy that has pervaded the course across the years finds expression in the endeavour to attract the entire family – top quality greens and a day-round turn-up-and-play queuing system for spontaneous golfers.
